ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at two different ways to deliver treatment for biceps tendinitis, which causes pain in the front of the shoulder. The study compares using ultrasound, a special imaging technique, to guide the injection of medication directly into the painful area, versus using traditional methods that rely on feeling for the right spot. Researchers believe that using ultrasound might help doctors give the treatment more precisely, potentially leading to better results for patients.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have pain in the front of your shoulder, specifically at the long head of the biceps tendon. If you're selected, you’ll receive either the ultrasound-guided treatment or the traditional method. The trial is currently recruiting participants, so it’s a great chance to help improve shoulder pain treatments for yourself and others. However, if you have certain conditions like a ruptured tendon or previous surgeries in the area, you may not be eligible.
