ClinConnect Summary

The BEAMER project is a clinical trial aimed at improving how patients stick to their treatment plans for various health conditions, including heart disease, diabetes, immune disorders, brain disorders, cancer, and rare diseases. Many people struggle to follow their prescribed treatments, leading to more doctor visits and even serious health issues. This trial focuses on understanding patients' needs and preferences to create personalized support solutions that help them adhere to their treatments better. The project has developed a tool called B-COMPASS, which uses a questionnaire to predict how well patients might follow their treatment and to identify what kind of help they might need.

To participate in this study, individuals must have a diagnosis related to the conditions mentioned and must be willing to engage in all study activities. They will need to provide written consent to join. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but when it does, those involved can expect to share their experiences and receive tailored support aimed at improving their treatment adherence. This research aims not only to enhance individual health outcomes but also to make healthcare more effective and cost-efficient.
