ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how hand strength and sensitivity relate to daily activities and the fear of movement in people with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). RA is a condition that causes inflammation, particularly in the joints of the hands and wrists, leading to pain, stiffness, and reduced strength. Understanding these relationships can help improve how we manage the daily challenges faced by individuals living with RA.
To participate in this trial, women aged 18 to 65 who have had stable medical treatment for the last three months may be eligible. However, those who have had hand or wrist surgery, have a prosthesis, or have other serious health issues like neurological diseases or cancers will not qualify. If you join the study, you can expect to undergo assessments that measure your hand's strength and sensitivity, which will help researchers learn more about how these factors affect your ability to perform everyday tasks and your feelings about moving your hands.
