ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how deep and at what angle needles should be inserted at a specific acupuncture point called Jianzhongshu (SI15), which is often used to help with neck and shoulder pain. Researchers will use ultrasound, a technology that lets them see inside the body in real-time, to ensure that the needles are placed accurately and safely. They will also use a special tool to measure the angles of insertion precisely. The goal is to gather important information that can improve acupuncture treatments for people dealing with chronic neck and shoulder issues.
To participate in this study, you need to be a healthy adult aged 18 or older who can understand and agree to join. However, if you have serious health problems, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have had recent surgeries or infections in the area being treated, you may not be eligible. If you decide to take part, you can expect to help researchers gather valuable data that could lead to better acupuncture practices for treating pain.
