ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a combination of resistance training (a type of exercise that helps build strength) and a high-quality protein nutrition plan can improve body composition and overall fitness in women undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Specifically, it aims to see if following this exercise and nutrition plan during neoadjuvant chemotherapy (which is chemotherapy given before surgery) can help women feel stronger and healthier.
To participate in this trial, women aged 20 to 89 who have been diagnosed with invasive breast cancer and are planning to start chemotherapy can apply. Participants will engage in group exercise sessions and receive guidance on nutrition. However, those with certain health conditions that might make it unsafe to participate in exercise or who have allergies to specific proteins will not be eligible. This study is currently recruiting participants and aims to provide valuable insights into supporting women’s health during cancer treatment.
