ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new way to help emergency services prioritize calls from people experiencing chest pain. The study is testing a tool called the HAR score, which helps determine how serious a person's chest pain might be. The HAR score takes into account factors like the person's medical history, age, and risk factors to categorize the chest pain as low, intermediate, or high risk. This could help emergency medical dispatchers decide faster whether to send help or if the response can wait a bit longer, especially since not all chest pain is caused by serious heart issues.
To participate in the trial, you must be at least 18 years old and calling from specific areas in France (departments 49, 72, or 37) while experiencing non-traumatic chest pain. However, there are some exclusions, such as if you are receiving treatment elsewhere or cannot communicate in French. If you join the study, you will undergo an assessment using the HAR score, and the goal is to improve how emergency services respond to calls about chest pain, which could ultimately save lives by ensuring timely care for those who need it most.
