ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a smartphone app can help improve the mental and physical health of firefighters in Tainan, Taiwan. The app, called the Healthy Lifestyle (HLS) app, is designed to encourage healthier living and reduce the risk of diseases that aren't passed from person to person. The researchers want to find out if using this app can make a difference compared to firefighters who only receive standard care without the app.
To participate in this study, you need to be a career firefighter aged 20 or older. If you join, you will be randomly placed into one of two groups: one group will use the HLS app, while the other will continue with regular care. You'll have health and fitness check-ups at the start of the trial and again after three to six months to see if using the app leads to better health outcomes. The trial is currently recruiting, and they welcome firefighters of all genders to take part.
