ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at a new way to keep kids safe from concussions in soccer. The researchers want to see if having "Pre-Game Safety Huddles"—meetings before games where players and coaches discuss concussion safety—can help reduce the risk of mild traumatic brain injuries in young soccer players. The study will involve kids aged 9 to 13 and their coaches from specific soccer leagues.

To participate, children must be between 9 and 13 years old and part of eligible teams, and their coaches also need to be involved. One important requirement is that participants must be able to read and write in English. While the trial is not yet recruiting participants, if you are eligible, you can expect to learn about concussion safety and engage in discussions that could help protect young athletes on the field.
