ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how people recover after surgery for wrist fractures, specifically looking at how their wrist functions and how they perceive its use during rehabilitation. The researchers want to understand the connection between physical abilities and how patients feel about their wrist's function at the start and end of rehabilitation. They will also explore how these factors affect the length and success of the rehabilitation process.
To participate, you need to be an adult (18 years or older) who has had surgery for a wrist fracture at a specific hospital. You should be able to give your consent to join the study. As a participant, you will fill out questionnaires about your wrist’s function, undergo strength tests, and have a physiotherapist assess your wrist movement during your outpatient visits. This study will include 100 patients over two years and aims to shed light on how your perception of your body can influence your recovery after a wrist fracture.
