ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how exercise and the use of braces can help office workers with kyphosis, which is a condition that causes a hunchback posture. The study will compare the effects of physical therapy alone with physical therapy combined with bracing to see which approach works better for improving posture, reducing pain, and enhancing overall function. The goal is to find effective, non-surgical ways to manage kyphosis in people who spend a lot of time sitting at work.
To participate in this trial, you need to be an office worker aged 30 to 45 who has been dealing with upper back or neck pain for at least three months and spends a minimum of six hours a day sitting. However, if you have had spinal surgery, severe scoliosis, or are currently in a physical therapy program or using a brace for posture, you would not be eligible to join. If you qualify, you can expect to take part in exercises and possibly wear a brace to help improve your condition, contributing to valuable research that could help others in similar situations.
