If you or a family member are interested in joining, you would be monitored for your blood pressure over a 24-hour period. It's important to note that if you or your legal representative do not wish to participate, that's perfectly fine, and individuals with a life expectancy of less than six months will not be included in the study.

Eligibility criteria

• Inclusion Criteria:
• • Age ≥ 75 years
• • Diagnosis of hypertension according to the criteria of the European Society of Cardiology guidelines \[Williams 2018\]
• • Consent of the patient (or legal representative) to participate in the study
• Exclusion Criteria:
• • Refusal of the patient or his/her legal representative
• • Life expectancy of less than 6 months
