ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how blood flow and sound patterns in the heart can help us understand and classify coronary lesions, which are blockages in the arteries that can cause unstable angina, a type of chest pain. The study will take place from January 2020 to June 2025, and researchers will look at patients who are undergoing a specific heart test called coronary angiography. To participate, patients should have one or two identified blockages from previous angiograms, allowing researchers to compare changes in blood flow over time.
To be eligible for the study, patients must not have had any previous heart surgeries or procedures, such as a stent placement or bypass surgery. While the trial is not currently recruiting participants, it aims to gather valuable information that could improve future treatments for unstable angina. If you or a loved one have unstable angina and meet the criteria, this study may provide important insights into heart health.
