ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a program called Pain Neuroscience Education (PNE4Kids) to see if it can help middle school children understand pain better and improve their health. The main goal is to find out if this educational approach can change how kids think about pain and encourage them to be more active, sleep better, and participate more in fun activities. The study will include a mix of presentations and interactive games, and it will measure things like physical activity, sleep habits, and how kids understand pain before and after the program.
To participate, children need to be actively enrolled in middle school and able to read and understand Turkish. However, those with chronic pain, certain chronic illnesses, or specific learning disabilities cannot join. Kids who take part will either receive the PNE4Kids program or will not receive any intervention at all. The researchers will evaluate the children at the beginning, right after the program, and three months later to see how effective the education has been. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to help children lead healthier lives by better understanding pain.
