Caregiver Intervention Group Supportive Care Glioblastoma

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is focused on providing support to family caregivers of patients who have been diagnosed with glioblastoma, a type of aggressive brain cancer. The goal is to test and evaluate a group intervention program that aims to help caregivers manage the emotional and practical challenges they face while caring for someone with this condition.

To participate in this trial, you need to be a family caregiver—someone who provides care and support—of a patient who is 18 years or older and has been diagnosed with glioblastoma. The study will include caregivers who can understand, read, and speak Danish. Although the trial is not yet recruiting participants, once it begins, caregivers can expect to join a supportive group where they can share experiences and learn helpful strategies for coping. This trial is an important step in understanding how to better support those who care for patients with serious health conditions like glioblastoma.
