ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new smart chest band called the Skiin, which is designed to monitor your heart's electrical activity, known as an electrocardiogram (ECG). The Skiin band is part of a larger health platform that includes a mobile app for tracking any symptoms you might experience, like feeling light-headed or having shortness of breath. Participants in the study will wear the Skiin chest band for 14 days, allowing researchers to gather important data that could help develop better tools for monitoring heart health.
To be eligible for this trial, you should be between 65 and 74 years old, and have been referred to a specific cardiac evaluation program where your doctor has recommended a 14-day ECG monitor. It's important that you can understand and speak English well enough to provide consent. However, if you are under 18, pregnant, or have certain heart devices like pacemakers, you won't be able to participate. If you join the study, you can expect to wear the band comfortably and use the app to log any symptoms during the monitoring period. This research aims to improve how we detect and predict heart-related health issues in the future.
