ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a relaxation method called the Benson Relaxation Technique to see how it affects pregnant women who are feeling anxious or stressed about childbirth. The study aims to find out if this technique can help reduce fears about giving birth and lower overall anxiety and stress levels during pregnancy.
To participate in the trial, women need to be between 28 and 38 weeks pregnant and may have conditions like anxiety disorders or mental health issues. They should not have used relaxation methods before or taken herbal or medical sedatives. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but if you qualify and choose to join, you can expect to learn and practice relaxation techniques that might help you feel calmer about your upcoming delivery. It's important to note that those with high-risk pregnancies or who wish to opt-out of the study will not be eligible to participate.
