ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new type of dental implant called biomimetic abutments, which are designed to help restore teeth for people who have lost them. The goal is to see how well these abutments work in clinical settings, meaning how effective they are for patients. The study is currently looking for participants who are between 25 and 65 years old and have one area in their mouth where a tooth is missing and has healed enough for a dental implant. Participants should also be able to attend follow-up appointments and have good oral hygiene.
If you decide to join this trial, you can expect to have an implant placed, and then the researchers will monitor your progress to see how well the biomimetic abutments perform. However, individuals who need additional procedures like gum grafts, have serious gum disease, smoke heavily, or have poor oral hygiene won't be eligible to participate. This study is important because it could lead to better solutions for people dealing with tooth loss.
