ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how low-flow anesthesia, which uses less gas than traditional methods, may help protect the body and save resources during surgeries. It focuses on patients undergoing a laparoscopic cholecystectomy, a minimally invasive surgery to remove the gallbladder. The study aims to see if this method can improve stability in heart function and brain oxygen levels during the procedure.
To participate in this trial, patients must be between 18 and 70 years old and have a low risk for complications, indicated by an ASA score of 1 or 2, meaning they are generally healthy or have mild health issues. However, individuals who are pregnant, morbidly obese, or have certain serious health conditions, such as uncontrolled diabetes or severe heart problems, cannot join. Participants can expect to receive careful monitoring and care during their surgery, and their experiences will help researchers understand the benefits of low-flow anesthesia better.
