ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how certain blood tests relate to the activity of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), a condition that can affect various parts of the body. Researchers want to see if specific blood markers, like the lymphocyte-monocyte ratio and others, can help understand how active the disease is in patients. The study will involve 70 women diagnosed with SLE and 70 healthy women of similar ages to compare their blood results.
To participate in this study, individuals must be at least 18 years old and have a confirmed diagnosis of SLE. Healthy volunteers without autoimmune diseases will also be included. Participants will undergo blood tests and their disease activity will be measured using a scoring system called SLEDAI-2K. This trial is not yet recruiting, but it aims to gather important information that could help improve the understanding and management of SLE in the future.
