ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how soft tissue sarcomas, which are rare types of tumors, affect patients' movement and overall quality of life. The researchers want to explore how robotic rehabilitation techniques can help improve motor skills in patients who have undergone surgery for localized soft tissue sarcoma. They will measure how patients move and how their muscles work using special assessments. Additionally, the trial will look at how nutrition impacts recovery and quality of life, with participants filling out questionnaires at different times during the study.

To be eligible for this trial, participants must be at least 18 years old and have a localized soft tissue sarcoma that can be treated with limb-sparing surgery. Unfortunately, those with recurrent tumors, metastatic disease (cancer that has spread), or who are pregnant or breastfeeding cannot participate. If you join the study, you can expect to undergo evaluations of your movement and receive tailored rehabilitation to help you recover better after surgery. This research aims to provide insights into improving care for patients with soft tissue sarcoma.
