ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the Voiceitt app, which aims to help people with speech impairments communicate more effectively. The trial focuses on individuals who have difficulty speaking due to conditions like cerebral palsy, stroke, ALS (a type of motor neuron disease), or Parkinson's disease. By participating, individuals may see improvements in their ability to express themselves and engage in conversations.
To be eligible for this study, participants should be at least 13 years old and have moderately severe speech difficulties. They also need to be able to understand and follow instructions to use the app. However, individuals with severe cognitive issues that make it hard to understand the app, those with additional speech problems, or those who cannot engage with the app physically will not qualify. The trial is currently recruiting participants of all genders, and it's important to note that non-English speakers are not eligible. If you decide to participate, you can expect support in learning how to use the app and the opportunity to help improve communication tools for others in similar situations.
