ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how storytelling can help Latinas who are experiencing anxiety and depression to start their mental health treatment. The study compares two different web-based apps: one app uses an engaging story with characters that guide users to helpful resources and treatment options, while the other app provides general information and links to videos about mental health. The goal is to see if the story-based app is more effective in encouraging women to seek help for their mental health issues.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be Latina women aged 18 and older, living in Los Angeles or Orange County, and able to speak and understand English or Spanish. They need to have a moderate level of anxiety or depression and must not be currently receiving mental health therapy or medication. Participants will use the app to access resources and guidance tailored to their needs. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but if you're interested, it's a great opportunity to potentially improve mental health care for Latinas in the community.
