ClinConnect Summary

The clinical trial called "The Mobile-based Training System in Peritoneal Dialysis Patients" is looking to see how a mobile app can help patients who are using peritoneal dialysis. This app is designed to improve their understanding and skills related to their treatment. If you're a patient who has been on peritoneal dialysis for more than three months, or if you've been on it for less than three months but have recovered from certain infections, you might be eligible to join the trial. It's important that participants can perform peritoneal dialysis on their own and do not have any serious mental health issues.

If you decide to participate, you will have the opportunity to use this mobile training system, which could help you become more confident and skilled in managing your dialysis at home. The trial is currently recruiting participants aged 65 to 74, and anyone can join regardless of gender. Your involvement will contribute to understanding how technology can support patients in their treatment journey.
