ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effectiveness of a combination treatment for non-segmental vitiligo, a skin condition where patches of skin lose their color. Researchers want to see if using a laser treatment alongside a medication called topical methotrexate works better than just using the methotrexate alone. In this study, patients will have similar skin patches on both sides of their body. They will receive the two different treatments randomly assigned to each side, allowing doctors to compare the results. The trial will assess how well the skin regains color, the safety of the treatments, and how patients feel about their experience over a six-month period.
To participate in this trial, you must be between 18 and 65 years old and have stable non-segmental vitiligo with similar affected areas on both sides of your body. You should not have received certain treatments like corticosteroids or phototherapy in the last three months, and you will need to give your written consent to join. The trial is currently not recruiting participants, but it aims to provide valuable insights into improving treatment options for vitiligo.
