This clinical trial is studying a tool called the Geriatric Pain Measure - Short Form, which helps assess pain in older adults. The goal is to adapt this tool for Turkish-speaking patients and ensure it works well for measuring pain in those aged 65 and older who have chronic pain. A total of 150 participants will be involved, and they will fill out the pain measure with the help of specialists. Researchers will check how reliable and accurate this tool is by comparing it to other established measures of pain and sleep.

To be eligible for this study, participants must be older adults experiencing chronic pain and willing to take part. However, individuals with dementia or certain mental or physical conditions that may affect their ability to answer questions, as well as those with cancer, cannot participate. If you join the trial, you can expect to complete some questionnaires about your pain, and your involvement will help improve how pain is measured in older adults. Your participation is entirely voluntary, and ethical guidelines have been followed to ensure your safety and well-being.
