ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on helping women who have survived early-stage endometrial cancer and are struggling with obesity. The goal is to see how doctors can work together with a team to support these survivors in managing their weight, which is important for their overall health and future well-being. Participants in the study will be referred to a specialized weight management clinic, where they will discuss various options, including the possibility of using weight loss medications. The study will look at whether patients choose to use these medications or not, and it will gather information about their health and reasons for their choices.
To be eligible for the trial, participants should be at least 18 years old, have a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or higher, and have completed treatment for their cancer with no signs of remaining disease. They should also be in good enough health to participate in a weight loss program. Throughout the study, those who choose to use weight loss medication will have their progress monitored, while those who opt not to use medication will still have their health tracked through regular check-ups. This trial aims to better understand the tools and support that can help endometrial cancer survivors achieve and maintain a healthy weight.
