ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial, titled "Cough and Hemorrhoids," is exploring how coughing may be related to hemorrhoids. Researchers want to understand if people who have hemorrhoids also experience coughing and how it affects their symptoms. The study will take place at the Muğla Education and Research Hospital and will involve patients who are experiencing issues like bleeding, pain, and itching due to hemorrhoids. By examining cough symptoms along with the severity of hemorrhoids, the study aims to find out if coughing might contribute to worsening hemorrhoid conditions.

To participate in this trial, individuals must be at least 18 years old, speak Turkish, and be able to understand the study questions. They should agree to take part and have been diagnosed with hemorrhoidal disease. However, those with other specific medical conditions or previous surgeries related to hemorrhoids will not be eligible. Participants can expect to undergo physical exams and answer questions about their cough, its duration, and any other health issues they have. This research is important as it may help doctors better understand the connection between coughing and hemorrhoids, potentially leading to improved patient care in the future.
