ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new treatment for sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL), which is a rapid loss of hearing that occurs without any obvious cause. The researchers want to see if injecting a mixture of dexamethasone (a medication that reduces inflammation) and hyaluronic acid (a substance that helps with tissue healing) directly into the ear can improve hearing more effectively than using dexamethasone alone.
To participate in this trial, you must be an adult aged 18 or older and diagnosed with SSNHL. Unfortunately, if you have any issues with your middle or outer ear, have had certain types of head injuries, or have had previous ear surgeries, you won't be able to join. If you are eligible and decide to participate, you will receive the injections and be monitored for their effects on your hearing. This trial is currently in the planning stages and has not started recruiting participants yet.
