ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying sleep disorders in people with specific learning disabilities (SLD), such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dyspraxia, along with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). It aims to understand how often sleep issues occur in children and adults who have these learning disabilities. Researchers will collect information through online questionnaires from about 1,000 participants aged 4 and older in France. They want to find out more about the types of sleep problems these individuals face and how factors like age, gender, and co-existing conditions like ADHD or anxiety may influence their sleep.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be diagnosed with at least one specific learning disability and be 4 years or older. Those with legal guardianship or who do not wish to participate will not be included. Participants can expect to fill out a questionnaire that will help researchers gather important data about their sleep patterns and overall health. This study is crucial because it seeks to provide a better understanding of sleep issues in people with SLD, which can help improve their quality of life and inform future treatments.
