ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying Silver Russell Syndrome (SRS), a rare genetic condition that affects how certain genes are expressed. Researchers want to understand how often parents of children with SRS have used assisted reproductive technology (ART), such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), to conceive. They are also interested in the infertility rates among these parents, the possible causes of infertility, and the specific ART methods used. By gathering this information, the study aims to shed light on the connection between ART and the occurrence of SRS.
If you are a parent of a child diagnosed with SRS and are over 18 years old, you may be eligible to participate in this study. Participation involves answering questions about your fertility and the methods used to conceive your child, which will be done through a phone interview. If ART was used, additional details about the techniques will be gathered from your doctor. Your answers will be kept private and will help researchers better understand SRS and its relationship with assisted reproductive methods.
