ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial, called "Thriving with Bipolar Disorder," is designed to explore how a new education program can help people with bipolar disorder (BD) improve their quality of life (QoL). The program will be run by trained peers—people who also live with BD and have learned how to manage their symptoms effectively. By sharing their experiences and strategies, these peer facilitators aim to provide valuable support and information in a group setting. The trial will evaluate how well the program works and how participants feel about it.

To be eligible for this program, participants need to be at least 18 years old, live in Canada, and have a self-reported diagnosis of bipolar disorder. They must also be able to read, write, and speak English, and have access to a device like a computer or smartphone for online meetings. Participants can expect to engage in discussions, learn new self-management techniques, and connect with others who share similar experiences. This unique approach focuses on improving daily life for those living with BD, making it a supportive and informative opportunity.
