ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring a new way to help people with a liver condition called Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), which can lead to serious health issues like cirrhosis and liver cancer. Since MASLD often doesn't show clear symptoms early on, it can be hard to detect until it's more advanced. The trial aims to test a mobile app called OpenTele, which will help patients make lifestyle changes and stay engaged with their healthcare providers. By using this app, the goal is to catch MASLD earlier and help manage its effects more effectively.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have been diagnosed with MASLD. You'll also need to be comfortable using digital technology, like smartphones, or have someone who can help you with this. Participants will have access to the app, which will guide them in making healthy lifestyle choices and help their doctors monitor their progress. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and it could be an important step in finding better ways to manage liver disease.
