ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how people with depressive disorders experience their bodies and how this awareness can affect their health and well-being. Researchers are using a tool called the Awareness Body Chart (ABC) to better understand this connection. By gathering information from participants, the study aims to uncover new insights that could help develop therapies focused on body awareness for those dealing with depression.
To participate, you need to be between 18 and 69 years old and have a medical diagnosis of a depressive disorder, such as a depressive episode or bipolar disorder with a depressive phase. Participants will need to consent in writing and will be asked to complete questionnaires about their experiences. It's important to note that those with certain conditions, like serious mental health issues or physical disabilities that affect their ability to answer questions, will not be eligible. Overall, this trial is a step towards understanding how improving body awareness might help individuals with depression.
