ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how effective virtual reality (VR) training can be in helping nurses improve their skills in assessing and managing delirium in patients. Delirium is a temporary state of confusion that can affect many hospitalized elderly patients, especially those in intensive care. The goal is to see if using a special VR system helps nurses learn better compared to standard video training methods.

To participate in the trial, nurses must be between 20 and 65 years old and must currently be practicing in a direct patient care role. Those interested will be randomly assigned to either the VR training group or the standard video training group. Throughout the study, nurses will take tests before and after the training to measure their knowledge and skills related to delirium. This research aims to find out if the immersive VR experience is a more effective learning tool for nurses compared to traditional training methods. Participating in this study may provide valuable insights into improving care for patients experiencing delirium.
