ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection affects patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Researchers want to understand if having HBV changes the way IBD behaves in Egyptian patients, such as its severity or the areas of the bowel it affects. They will gather information by reviewing medical histories, conducting physical exams, and performing tests like ultrasound and endoscopy.
To participate in this study, you need to be over 18 years old and have a confirmed diagnosis of IBD. Unfortunately, those under 18 or who do not wish to take part cannot join. If you decide to participate, you can expect to share your medical history and undergo some tests to help the researchers learn more about the connection between HBV and IBD. This study is currently recruiting participants of all genders.
