ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how effective AI-guided breathing exercises can be for reducing stress in adults. The researchers will recruit 120 participants and divide them into two groups. One group will use a special wristband that connects to an AI chatbot, which will provide personalized daily breathing exercises for 28 days. The other group will practice a technique called progressive muscle relaxation, which helps release tension in the body. The goal is to see if the breathing exercises can help participants manage stress and emotions better than the relaxation technique. The researchers will check in with everyone at one month, three months, and six months after the study to see if the benefits last.
To participate in this trial, you need to be a college student aged 18 to 30. However, if you have a history of severe mental health issues or are taking certain medications for mental health or chronic conditions, you won’t be eligible. If you join, you can expect to follow a structured program designed to help you reduce stress, all while using a convenient wearable device. This study is not yet recruiting participants, so keep an eye out for when it begins if you're interested!
