ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a pain management technique called paravertebral block to see how well it helps patients recover after coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery. Specifically, the study will assess how effective this method is in reducing pain, speeding up movement, improving breathing, and lowering the risk of complications after surgery. The goal is to help patients recover more comfortably in the intensive care unit.
To participate in the trial, individuals must be 18 years or older and scheduled for elective CABG surgery, which involves making an incision in the chest. However, some people may not be eligible if they have certain medical conditions, such as bleeding disorders or infections, if they are undergoing emergency surgery, or if they have severe back issues. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but once it starts, those who join can expect to receive the paravertebral block and be monitored closely during their recovery process.
