ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying the effects of different types of exercises on people with jaw joint dysfunction, also known as temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction. The researchers want to find out if adding breathing exercises or back exercises to regular muscle therapy can help improve not only jaw function but also pain levels, spinal health, and overall mental well-being, including stress and sleep quality. Participants will complete a questionnaire about their pain, symptoms, and lifestyle, and they will receive treatment in groups over eight weeks, with sessions lasting about 45-50 minutes twice a week.

To be eligible for this study, participants must be between 18 and 65 years old and have specific muscle-related TMJ issues. People with certain conditions, such as severe arthritis, recent surgeries, or respiratory problems, will not be included. The trial involves a face-to-face interview to gather important health information and will measure changes in symptoms before and after the treatment period. This is a great opportunity for individuals dealing with TMJ dysfunction to explore new ways to improve their condition.
