ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) and Multimodal Analgesia in Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy, is looking at how a new pain management approach can help patients recovering from gallbladder surgery. The study aims to find out if using a combination of pain relief methods (like paracetamol and anti-inflammatory medications) as part of an ERAS program can reduce pain after surgery, shorten hospital stays, lower the chances of complications, and decrease the need for extra opioid painkillers.
To participate in this trial, patients must be scheduled for elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy (gallbladder surgery) and be classified as healthy or only mildly ill (ASA class I-II). Unfortunately, individuals with certain medical conditions, ongoing major surgeries, or specific medication sensitivities are not eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to receive the new multimodal pain management strategy and be monitored for your recovery over time. This trial is an important step toward improving comfort and recovery for patients undergoing this common procedure.
