ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "Intra Arrest Ventilation in Human Cadavers II," is exploring different ways to help people breathe during emergency situations when their heart stops. Researchers are testing three ventilation methods using special equipment to see which one provides the best air supply to the lungs when combined with various airway devices. This is important because effective ventilation can help improve survival chances during resuscitation efforts.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be at least 18 years old and not have certain serious health conditions, such as severe lung injuries or abnormalities in their airways. The trial is currently not recruiting participants yet, but once it starts, those involved will help researchers understand how well these ventilation methods work during critical moments. This study aims to improve emergency care, which could benefit many people in the future.
