ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to see how well wearable sensors can help track the health and exercise of patients who are getting ready for a kidney transplant. The goal is to understand if these sensors can provide useful information while patients participate in supervised exercise programs.
To join the study, participants need to be adults aged 55 or older who are considered frail and are being evaluated for a kidney transplant at Houston Methodist Hospital. They must be willing to follow the study rules and sign consent forms. However, individuals who cannot exercise, refuse to participate, or have difficulty communicating their choices cannot join. If eligible, participants can expect to wear a sensor during their exercise sessions, which will help doctors gather important data about their health and readiness for surgery.
