Knee Meniscus Lesion Dual Task Training

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how different types of training can help people with a knee meniscus tear, which is a common injury that affects the cartilage in the knee. The study will compare two approaches: one that focuses on just physical exercises and another that combines physical exercises with mental tasks to see which is more effective in improving movement and stability in participants. The researchers believe that improving how the knee senses its position and movement can help with balance and overall function.

To be eligible to participate, individuals should be between 40 and 65 years old and have a specific type of meniscus tear that is not too severe, as shown by an MRI scan. Participants should also be able to walk independently and have no major vision or hearing issues. They will be asked to take part in assessments and follow specific exercise programs during the study. This trial is currently not recruiting participants, but it aims to help improve treatment options for people with knee meniscus injuries in the future.
