ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called "Parental Well-being After Childbirth in Switzerland," is focused on understanding how the health and happiness of mothers and their partners change during the first year after having a baby. The goal is to identify the challenges new parents face, particularly regarding mental health, physical pain, and overall quality of life after childbirth. By gathering information from participants through a series of online questionnaires at different points—just after birth, and then again at 2, 6, and 12 months—researchers hope to improve postnatal care for families in Switzerland.
To participate in this study, you need to be a woman who gives birth at one of the maternity units involved in the study or the partner of such a woman. You should be at least 14 years old and able to communicate in one of Switzerland's main languages (German, French, Italian, or English). Only one partner can join for each mother. If you’re interested and meet these criteria, your involvement will help shape better care practices for many families every year.
