ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is designed to compare two types of exercises to see which one helps improve posture and spinal alignment in adults with thoracic kyphosis, a condition where the upper back is more rounded than normal. The study will look at back extensor strengthening exercises versus core stability exercises to determine which approach leads to better outcomes for participants.
To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be between 18 and 40 years old and have mild to moderate thoracic kyphosis, which is measured using a specific angle on an X-ray. They should also experience some back pain related to their condition and be willing to commit to a 6-week exercise program and follow-up. However, individuals with more severe kyphosis, certain spinal conditions, or those who have had spinal surgery will not be able to participate. If you join the study, you'll be part of a program where you'll perform guided exercises and check in with researchers to see how your posture and pain levels improve over time.
