ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how virtual reality (VR) can help flight cabin crew members who are on sick leave due to stress-related issues return to work more effectively. The researchers want to find out if using VR can help these individuals get back to their jobs faster, feel more confident about returning, and reduce their anxiety about work. To do this, they will compare two groups: one group will receive standard care from a therapist, while the other group will get that same care plus a session using VR glasses that allow them to experience their workplace in a safe and controlled way.
To participate in this trial, cabin crew members aged 65 to 74 who are currently on sick leave for stress and have been referred by their occupational doctor may be eligible. However, those with certain conditions like epilepsy or specific eye problems, or those who cannot provide signed consent, will not be able to join. If you’re part of the intervention group, you can expect to have a unique experience that may help you feel more prepared and less anxious about returning to work. This study is still in the planning stages and has not started recruiting participants yet.
