ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how well Egyptian and Sudanese dentists understand the oral health needs of older patients, also known as geriatric patients. The study aims to find out what these dentists know about dental care for the elderly, how they feel about treating them, and what challenges they face in providing this care. To gather this information, dentists will complete surveys that ask them about their knowledge, attitudes, and any difficulties they encounter when treating older patients.
To be eligible for this study, dentists must be practicing in Egypt or Sudan, have at least one year of experience, and be between the ages of 20 and 60. However, dentists who only work with children and do not treat elderly patients will not be included. This research will help improve the quality of dental care for older adults by identifying gaps in knowledge and areas where dentists may need more support.
