ClinConnect Summary
The EN-REACH Education trial is a research study designed to improve school readiness for preschool children, especially those with disabilities, in countries like Nepal, Tanzania, and Bangladesh. The main goal is to find out how to make an educational program that helps teachers, parents, and children work together effectively. The trial will look at what changes are needed in the training for teachers to ensure they can better support all children in their classrooms. It will also explore how this program can be successfully introduced into national education systems so that more children can benefit from it.
To participate in this study, children must be between 4 and 6 years old, enrolled in preschool, and live in specific areas. The study will include children with functional disabilities, even if they are older than 6. Parents will need to agree to join the study, and children from schools already involved in the EN-REACH program won't be included. If chosen for the study, families can expect to be part of a program aimed at improving teaching practices and enhancing school readiness, which could lead to better educational outcomes for their children.
