ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the health-related quality of life and urinary outcomes for patients who have undergone partial cystectomy, which is a surgery to remove part of the bladder, compared to those who have had a radical cystectomy, where the entire bladder is removed. The goal is to understand how these two different surgeries affect patients' daily lives and urinary function after the procedure.
To participate in this trial, individuals must be living patients who have had a partial cystectomy or are scheduled to have either a partial or radical cystectomy. The study is looking for all genders and is open to people aged 65 to 74. Participants will be matched in groups to help researchers compare outcomes effectively. If someone had a partial cystectomy and later had a radical cystectomy, they would not be eligible for this study. Those who join the trial can expect to provide information about their experiences and urinary health after surgery, which will help improve care for future patients.
