ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a mobile application can help patients who are preparing for surgery, specifically those undergoing a laparoscopic cholecystectomy (a type of gallbladder surgery). The goal is to see if using this app can reduce anxiety, improve comfort, lower complications, and increase overall satisfaction compared to standard care. The study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to include adults aged 18 and older who have a smartphone and can communicate in Turkish.
To be part of the study, you need to be scheduled for surgery and willing to use the mobile app. Participants will be able to use the app to get information and support during the time leading up to and following their surgery. However, if you have trouble using a smartphone or prefer not to participate, you won’t be eligible for this trial. This study hopes to find out if the app can make the surgical experience better for patients.
