ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking to find out how different programs can help people who are overweight or obese improve their health. The study will compare an 8-week online program called the Healthy YOU Program, which offers more interactive support, to a standard program that sends weekly tips about nutrition and healthy living via email. Researchers want to see how these programs affect participants' eating habits, exercise, and overall health both in the short term and over a longer period. They are also interested in understanding what helps people stick to healthier lifestyles.

To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be between 18 and 65 years old and have a body mass index (BMI) between 25 and 40, which indicates being overweight to moderately obese. However, people who are pregnant, have a history of eating disorders, or have recently lost or gained weight significantly are not eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to learn more about how to make lasting health changes and contribute to research that could help shape future health programs. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to support healthier living without focusing solely on weight loss.
